Tug- Of- War

This game is not just a game of strength. It also needs the strategy ang the coordination of your team mates. I played this game this intramurals in our school and I was very excited because I want to know what year level is the strongest. The teams are composed of five students and it was divided into girls and boys. The first one to compete is the girls. Our third year girls against the first year girls. We won the fagainst them and now it's the second year against the fourth year. The second year won! It's unbelievable but it's true. For the third place the fourth year and the first year competed. The fourth year won this time. It's the time for the championship. Third year against second year. Our girls easily won the championship. We were very happy. Now it's the time for the boys to show what they have. Third year against the first year. I'm included in the third year players and we easily defeated the first year. Now, the second year against the fourth year. as what we expected the fourth years won. Time to know who'll claim the third place. First year against second year. Guess who won? It was the first year! Time for the championship. Third year against the fourth year. When we saw our opponent our knees shook because they were very big. But we didn't loose hope. We gave everything we had even if our hands had wounds. Surprisingly, we won! The Red Macintosh was the champion in the Tug- Of- War.

INTRAMURALS is not always happy

The intramurals in our school is getting nearer and nearer. All of the students are already excited for it. But some of the students were not excited because they'll miss this chance. Because they need to compete with the other schools. They'll miss a opportunity that is very fun and very exciting. There are lot of games that will happen and they'll miss the Mr. and Ms. Physique. They need to sacrifice for the school. The Molecules and Ang Molekyuls is preparing for a contest about the newspaper. That's why they are very busy practicing. I hope that they'll win the contest and if not at least they tried their best for the school. We should support them because they'll represent our school and for the sacrifice that they made. Goodluck to all of you and God bless you! Do your best and just pray to God.

...

The intramurals is coming nearer and everybody was excited. Students were always talking about it. It is the most awaited moment of every student. But do we really need this sports fest? If you'll ask me, of course it is very important. Because we also need to train our body not only our brain. We need to balance every part of our body. This intramurals is also a way to relieve the stress in every student. It will help the students to relax and forget the hard days in class. We can meet new friends in this event. It will also develop the right cundoct and skills that are very important. One of it is team work. Nobody can survive on his own. We need also to depend on others. Another good manner that we can develop is sportsmanship. This is very important because we can learn how to be a good sport and play fair. So let's enjoy the intramurals!

My One and Only Inspiration...

She is kind, thoughtful and jolly. For the past years, I'm a very irresponsible son and I'm not that kind. But when I met her, she changed my life. She taught me of things that I,ve never done before. I stopped lying to my parents because of her and she encouoraged me in my studies and in many ways. she became my inspiration in my life. She also told my mother that she'll take care of me whatever happens and she told my mother that she'll guide me in the right way. I'm very thankful for what she had done to me. She influenced me a lot and I'm happy for it. She's my one and only Rebecca Cyrene G. Joya. Thanks a lot!

Fieldtrip 08-09

Everyone was excited about our fieldtrip. We got up early because Subic was very far. Our assembly point was the school. When I went there many were already there. When our bus came, all became more excited. The trip was so long. We went to Manila then to Pampangga, lst but not the least Subic. Along the trip our bus had a problem at it took a long time before our bus was fixed. All of us were irritated because of that. Finally we already reached Subic. First we went on a trip with the tigers. We were in a bus then there were tigers outside and they tried to eat the chicken. They were really big and scary. After that we went to the ostriches and saw what happened to them when it is their molting season. After the ostriches were the crocodiles. There were around 200 crocodiles in Subic. There were big ones and some were still small. After that we a had a trip in the monkeys. All of the monkeys were rescued by the Ocean park because they were abused. The highlight of the show was next. It's the dolphin show. The dolphins were very smart and agile. It's very fun to watch them. After that we had a short lecture about sea creatures. Then we watched the sea lions perform different tricks. Like the dolphins they were also intelligent. Then we went to an aquarium. There were lots of fishes there. Before saying goodbye to Ocean Adventure we went to it's souvenir shop. There were many cool stuffs but I didn't buy anything. Our nest stop was Duty Free. There are lot's of chocolate there. I bought some for my "pasalubong." Then when we were about to go home. It rained very strong and we got wet. It was so cold luckily we bought another t-shirt incase we get wet. It was time to go home. Almost all of us fell asleep. We were very tired but happy. We already went home 12 pm but you can see the happiness in our faces.

Who Is My Father??

My father lived in Naic, Cavite. He was the forth son of Graciano Peliña Sr. and Leonila Peliña. He was a very active child. My grandmother also told me that there were times that he acted stupid. One of those was when he bumped a jeepney even though the jeepney was not moving. When he married my mother. He became a responsible father to us. He is fund of saying jokes and sometimes insults us. When he gets angry, he doesn't spank us not like our mother. He is also fund of building many things. One of the things that he buil was the cabinet in our kitchen. Its like a work of a professional. My father was really talented. I don't know where did he get his talent but one thing is for sure. He is a hardworking and loving father.

Short History of My Family

A Brief History of My Family

Luis Peliña and Maxima Peliña lived a simple life. Maxima gave birth to a healthy child and named him Graciano. They bacame responsible parents and let their children finish the course that they wanted. Graciano, my grandfather, met Leonila Abueg and married her. Her father was Theodolfo Abueg and her mother was Theresa Abueg. Her father was just a simple farmer. Even though they are many in the family. All of them finished their studies. My grandfather(Graciano) and my grandmother(Leonila) still lived in Manila. They had five children. Two boys and three girls. My father was one of their siblings. They named him after my grandfathers name. My father , Graciano A. Peliña Jr., helped in their little bakery. He studied in Cavite Community Academy in Naic. He met my mother there. Joanna De Boda was her name. He is the daughter of Rizalito Tanglao and Nenita Tanglao. Rizalito Tanglao was the son of Simeon Tanglao and Caritina Tanglao. He lived in a simple life and worked in the ship. While Nenita De Boda (grandmother in mother's side) was just a housewife but sad to say she already passed away. My father and mother became lovers up to college. They married in the age of 24. They had three children. The eldest was me, Kim Jerome T. Peliña, next to me was Kit Gerald T. Peliña and the youngest was Kean Gabriel T. Peliña. We all lived a happy and a simple life.

test days!!!

Test days are not the my favorite part of the school year. As a matter of fact, I hate it so much. Except the first day of the test, because classes are shortened. After the first day of the PT my friends and I sometimes hang around and play. We always do ti every first day of the PT. We had lots of fun but sometimes things mess up. We were scolded one time by the teachers because we still played in the school. But it's okay. It's also fun even though were scolded because it adds an extra thrill.hehe. I always hope that every first day of the PT will be like that. All I knew was, it a blessing to have friends to stick around. I thank God for giving my friends.

It's all my fault!!!

This week was my unluckiest week! Many got angry to me and it's all my fault. Even my GF, Rebecca got angry to me. Why can't I make something right? I'm so stupid. Sometimes I also got angry to myself because I didn't do anything right. Sometimes I thought that "What will happen to the word if I'm not here?" We quarreled many times this week and it's all my fault! I always ask for forgiveness whatever happens. I will not give up until she forgives me. That's love! hahaha... If you really love her you'll do anything just to make them happy and I wish that even she always get angry to me, I can still make her happy and made her feel my everlasting love for her. naks! hahaha... My parents and my brothers also got angry to me because it is all my fault. Sometimes I also thought that "If I'll be dumb I hope I can't hurt they're feeling anymore." Maybe God was just testing my faith. I hope I passed! This is life! Nothing is certain!

Flilipino time!!!

It was our Filipino class, we had an activity and it was very long. On the first day I didn't help to my group mates. I'm really lazy.hehe. I just laugh and laugh until it is almost time. Stanford told us many jokes and it was really funny. I almost cried because I can't control my laughter. Then suddenly, our Filipino teacher told me that I will be the reporter of our group because I'm very noisy even though it's Stanford's fault. Good thing the reporting was not today. Days had past until it was our Filipino class again. It was the time for the reporting. The 1st group already started the report. I was nervous because I'm not prepared and I don't know how to explain it. Then it's already my turn. I stood at the front with my knees shaking. I started my report and I finished it not that bad. After that experienced I told myself to behave during Filipino class!

Luis Lehner, "Gravitational radiation from black hole spacetimes" Ph.D. University of Pittsburgh, 1998 DAI-B 59/06, p. 2797, Dec 1998

The problem of detecting gravitational radiation is receiving considerable attention with the construction of new detectors in the United States, Europe and Japan. The theoretical modeling of the wave forms that would be produced in particular systems will expedite the search and analysis of the detected signals. The characteristic formulation of GR is implemented to obtain an algorithm capable of evolving black holes in 3D asymptotically flat spacetimes. Using compactification techniques, future null infinity is included in the evolved region, which enables the unambiguous calculation of the radiation produced by some compact source. A module to calculate the waveforms is constructed and included in the evolution algorithm. This code is shown to be second-order convergent and to handle highly non-linear spacetimes. In particular, we have shown that the code can handle spacetimes whose radiation is equivalent to a galaxy converting its whole mass into gravitational radiation in one second. We further use the characteristic formulation to treat the region close to the singularity in black hole spacetimes. The code carefully excises a region surrounding the singularity and accurately evolves generic black hole spacetimes with apparently unlimited stability.

Father...

It's been a long time since I've seen my father again. He's an OFW and works as a marine engineer. I only heard his voice when he called to us. I missed him because our family is not that joyful if he's not here. We had lots of fun hen his here. My mother told me that he'll go home near. I felt happy because we'll see him again. I'm also excited because he told me that he had a gift from me. On the day that he arrived home, I was in school and I thought of what is his gift to me. It;s already dismissal and time to go home. I rushed home to see him. I was happy because I saw him again. He gave me a present. It was a new cellphone. I thank him for the gift. We really missed him a lot.

What Is My Purpose In Life???

Do you wonder why you're alive in this world? Are you wondering why you existed? Do you know your purpose? I already thought of that. Maybe my purpose in life is to succeed in achieving my dreams to help other people. To help my family in all their problems. To serve God in any way. We live for a reason. We have different reasons to live. All of us should fulfill that goal to attain the fulfillment in our life. Enjoy your life but do not forget your dream. Remember not to be selfish!!!

another week has ended...

The second week of classes has already ended and many more to come. I had many happy moments and some sad moments too in this week. We had any assignments for this week but we cannot do anything about it. It's requirement in our grades. We also had interesting activities, like what we did in Physics. We made a project that can let you see an object in it just using tracing paper, illustration board tape and a black cartolina. Is it interesting for you? One of my unforgettable moment in this week, was when we were scolded by the officers for playing basketball. They told us that were gonna regret what we have done this Friday. Then Friday came. "Thanks God it's Friday" Ma'am Arlyn said. Then I remembered that the officers may punish us for what we've done. After the flag retreat the officers punished our section. I don't know why but my knees were very tired because of that. I hope that I'll have nice and relaxing weekend.

first week of classes!!!

June 10-12

The first week of classes for me was just okay. We had lots of fun. Sometimes we teased each other and laughed at each other. Even though I'm not yet ready to go to school, I enjoyed its first week. On the first day of classes, we already started our lessons and we had many assignments. But it's okay. On the second day, we had our diagnostic test and our class organization. Unexpectedly, I was voted as the Vice President of our class. I hope I can handle my responsibilities and be a good model. We also had our diagnostic test this day and our Club Organization. My friends and I joined the LRC Club. I was voted as Business Manager in the year level. I really enjoyed this week and I hope it will be like this the whole school year.
